Got a feeling he'll be named Jets GM sometime soon.

Also of note: Tom Gamble was offered the chance for a second interview in Jacksonville but declined it.

Yea, He's got some strong ties to the NJ area. Plus he's already worked for the Jets before.

You have to wonder if it's a little more than just that

Gettleman's age scares me. Should that be a concern?
I don't think so, honestly. there are plenty of older guys still working in the NFL.

His old buddy Polian was apparently propping him up big time too.
I included him in the list of candidates because Adam Caplan reported that Accorsi was checking him out. I'm beginning to think now that he never got to the point of being a serious candidate.

Lombardi just slipped on NFL Network, seems he's the new GM of the Browns. Caplan has been saying he's been working FA and other stuff for the Browns.
I'm shocked
Wonder who his head coach will be

Seems like it was Lombardi's decision to go after Kelly, he's been secretly building up the Browns from the background. lmao.

How does this job look appealing to any GM candidates out there? Messy cap situation (to put it nicely) and he doesn't get to pick his own HC.
Well for one, it looks like all the other available jobs are about to be taken

Yep
Caldwell to Jax (Pretty much done if you ask me.)
Raye stays in SD (Telesco from Indy also really high on list) "This one is still playing out"
Lombardi to CLE (Pretty much done and solid source on that one. lol)
Gamble to NYJ (Pretty solid that it's done deal)
Keim stays in ARI (Not 100% on this one)
Dorsey in KC (Pretty much done)
I'm going to call the one in Carolina ( Gettleman to CAR)
