Mehta is also reporting ex-Bear GM Jerry Angelo will be getting an interview
Seattle's John Idzik is also being linked with a Jets interview
At the rate the Jets are losing potential GM's, it won't be long before they give Marty H. a call.

Regarding Gruden, I wasn't even interested in him as just a head coach. Sure as heck wouldn't be interested in him with total control of the team.
And Gruden thinks he'd deserve total control after taking the Bucs (with Dungy's players and Monte Kiffin as DC) from the Super Bowl through mediocrity to the point where his players told the team they refused to play if the team kept Gruden in charge. That's almost beyond a huge ego. That's almost a disconnect with reality.
Clearly, this is a guy who fervently believes his own hype.

I hate how people forgot how hard it is to win a superbowl let alone two. It's fair to say the best team in the league doesn't win the Super Bowl every year. It takes great coaching great players and a lot of luck. I think the notion that he took a already good team to the Super Bowl means we should discredit it is dumb. What are we? An already good team. No on full control but don't discredit a Super Bowl let alone two

Gruden doesn't have two.
After the Super Bowl his Bucs never even won another playoff game (and they only went twice in six years).

Gruden didn't take the Raiders to the Super Bowl.
Bill Callahan did. Gruden was the coach that beat him.

TURNER TO THE DESERT?
XTRA Sports 910's Mike Jurecki reported Thursday that Cardinals defensive coordinator and head coaching candidate Ray Horton has reached out to former Chargers coach Norv Turner to gauge his interest in becoming the team's next offensive coordinator if Horton should become the Cards' coach. Turner reportedly wants to stay out west and has already declined an opportunity with a team back east.
Turner won two Super Bowls with the Dallas Cowboys as OC in 1992 and 1993. He also has served as head coach of the Washington Redskins and the Oakland Raiders, and as offensive coordinator for the Chargers, Miami Dolphins, and San Francisco 49ers.

Browns have brought Ken Whisenhunt in for a second interview.
Not looking good for Chudzinski.

Interesting stuff on Turner. I wonder if Rivera asked him about it in wake of the Chud interview in CLE and was turned down... hmm
