JR doesn't want to show up the new GM.

JR thinks we made the Playoffs.

Rivera skipped out on a Dutch lunch date with JR at Hardees and still owes Richardson $6.50. (Where's my money?!)

Whatcha got?

What scares me is that Rivera continues to insist that he and JR are going to sit down and decide his future. I don't like that unless that conversation consists of Jerry telling him that his fate rests in the hands of the new GM.

All I know, is we have to start making some moves like NOW. Other openings are popping up all over the place and the longer we sit and wait, the worse our options will be. I'd rather just keep Rivera for another year than fire him a week from now likely after the top candidates are either signed or at least narrowed down their list of choices.

No different than the method used to find free agents every year....

We need to just accept we will not be good as long as JR is owner. We are not a professionally ran organization and cannot compete with those franchises that are. We might luck into a winning season every now and then, but we will not compete at a remotely high level on a consistent basis. We just have too many self-imposed handicaps.

JR forgot that yesterday was the last game of the season... When he shows up next week at the stadium, he'll remember and fire Rivera then.

I'd like it if the conversation goes like this:

JR: "Either you fire Chud or I fire you AND Chud. The man is a stubborn idiot who is going to get MY star quarterback injured beyond repair within 3 years."

Rivera: *sits and stares with that empty lost puppy look in his eyes*

JR is having a pie chart made up for the decision.

JR is confident in Rivera as well all should be. He doesn't care what arm chair coaches on a forum think.

JRR wants to wait until all other half dozen teams looking for a HC hire the coaches they want....then he will have no compeition.

I think we should have a GM first?

In other words why has Ross not been announced yet?

If Lovie Smith can lose his job, Rivera better too.
