If Chud is staying then, Norv as QB coach (hoping he take a demotion), Jim Skipper as RB coach and Russ Grimm as OL coach.

Quick look at the LB coaches from staffs that are currently in flux didn't turn up much in the way of linebacker coaches with Rivera ties. Well, except for Bob Babich, the guy that Lovie Smith replaced him with (something tells me that's a no go).

There is a former Panthers guy out there in Billy Davis, but he has no ties with Rivera.

Same here, but I do think we could do better in a couple of spots. And some of these are guys Ron Rivera would know quite well.

Obviously, the areas where I think we could get better are Special Teams, O-Line and Strength and Conditioning.

Would love to see us get Toub, Castillo and Hurd. Could also be happy with April and Hunter.

I think Norv would be a significant upgrade

Check that, one guy with ties to Rivera, McDermott, and even the Panthers.

Mike Caldwell played linebacker for three years with the Eagles while Rivera was their linebacker coach. He was also on staff with the Eagles for a couple of seasons with DC Sean McDermott. He ended his playing career with the Panthers in 2003.

As far as receiver coaches, there's Charlie Joiner of the Chargers (that'd be interesting).

Rivera would also have worked with Bears WR coach Daryl Drake, another guy who joined the team the same year as Rivera. But given that when you think of great receivers the Bears aren't exactly the first team that comes to mind, I'm not sure how much I'd like that idea.

Correction to that. Rivera tried to get Babich when he first got the Panthers job. Knowing that, would be no surprise if he tries to get him now.
