Rivera/Turner/Lovie. Only way I'd keep Rivera.

And Rivera would want to work again with the guy who dismissed him from the Bears...why, exactly?

He didn't didn't necessarily do it in a bad way. Just didn't renew his contract. I'm sure he's over that by now, as the tables have turned.

I don't really worry about that stuff, honestly. It's cool and all, but I don't need it.

The question came up when we played the Bears. Both men seemed a tad uncomfortable about it. I seriously doubt it's an "all is forgiven" sort of thing deep down.

From what I heard he was essentially let go so Lovie could bring in his poker buddy.

Yay nepotism.

Yeah, Bob Babich.

Love never really wanted Rivera, and said so. The Bears did because he was an ex-player, but as soon as his initial contract expired, Smith moved on.

One down.

Saw Jim Skipper is being let go by Tennessee, but I think our runningbacks coach (John Settle) is safe.

Now lookings like Castillo is off the table too. Will join Reid (likely in KC).

also the reason that lovie moved on from rivera was that rivera was a hold out from a previous staff and the two of them come from different coaching styles and mentalities.

their two philosophies don't exactly match.
