If he could have lasted about three/four more years he might have gotten to play with/against his son.
Yes, thats crazy. Its definitely time to retire. At least before that would happen.

He seems to me to have been a liability for the past few seasons.
I would assume this was a either bow out, or get cut type thing.

For whatever you think of Lewis, his last moment playing in his home stadium was epic to watch.
