If the new GM didn't want cam as the future of the franchise how would you feel

CJ and Kraken are amazing DE's.

Clowney (and this is just my opinion) is already better than both. Clowney will step in and be dominant in the pass rush *and* against the rush. This is the kind of impact that makes safeties better no matter who you put at the position.

But you keep drafting for need, mmK? Your subsequent Cleveland Brown results will get your butt fired forthwith.

You do not only draft need. I just feel that if there is a stud at one of those positions, you take it.

Let us just accept that we will not agree on this. I think Clowney will be a star in this league, but I do not believe that he would be the best choice for the Panthers. We can make due without him. If we went DL, I would much rather have us grab a DT that could eat space and create interior pressure.

It's a moot point because Clowney will be the #1 pick and we won't have the opportunity to draft him anyway. But he is potentially a once in a generation type player that you don't pass on, regardless of what your needs are.

Same thing that would happen if that GM said he wanted to relocate the Panthers to his backyard so he doesn't need to travel to work. Security!!!
