I dont know about you guys...but if someone had made the conscious decision to kill me, i'd much rather they do it with a gun versus beating me to death with hammer or club...ouch...hahaha.

Pretty easy to defend yourself from a singular person with a hammer.

Yea if they announced their intentions to you I suppose, haha. Without any knowledge of it, anyone could be walked up behind easily by someone and instantly receive a case of the hammer smashed skull.

Who said anything about necessarily killing anyone? If someone with a hammer came at you, and you pull out a gun, it might make them think twice about what they do next. If pulling out a gun doesnt phase them, and they decide to move forward with their intent to kill you, you could always immobilize them with a shot to the arm or leg or something. However at the same time...considering what the attacker is trying to do unto you, makes it reasonable for you to use whatever extent of force is necessary to prevent their actions if it gets to that point.

This is not a matter of weapons. It is a matter of intentions.

After reading those stats from the FBI, how many of you survivalists thought: "Well damn, why am I spending hundreds if not thousands of my hard earned dollars on inferior rifles and bothersome ammo? I can just bypass all the government red tape and buy a poo load of hammers for under ten bucks each from the Home Depot! What better killing tool could there possibly be(statistically speaking of course)to defend my loved ones from the tyranny of our bloated federal government?
