BREAKING: Chip Kelly is close to a deal to become the #Browns coach, according to a source informed of his situation.

Wow, that was quick. They must have offered him a tremendous amount of money.

It was reported that if the interview went well they'd give him a Godfather offer, so I'm not surprised.

If he does go to the Browns, for all those who wanted Chip Kelly, I'm not going to throw this in your face. If Chip Kelly is successful in Cleveland (if he can turn that franchise around, he will officially be the greatest HC in the history of the NFL), I will personally eat all my crow concerning the things I've said about him.

Do the Browns have the power to make Chip the Emperor of Ohio?

meanwhile we'll be forced to settle for a losing head coach and that our owner...not our new GM will have decided upon (and i'm betting that all GM candidates are absolutely loving that idea).

Great college coach but no thanks. (strictly opinion)

Best of luck to the Browns.

I think Chip Kelly will be Steve Spurrier 2.0 as an NFL HC.
