Django Unchained

^ i thought the opposite. it really showed how the character was losing everything: the business deal [outsmarted by two bounty hunters, one of them black], his way of life, economy, and also being pushed out of the conversation. he was pissed and the blood showed his vulnerability. crazy that he was able to keep character through that, though. i have seen grown men flip the fug out getting a wine stem stuck in their hand [i used to be a server].

Not sure how any of that would have been lost if the unexplained blood on his hands wasn't there.

I would go

Reservoir Dogs

Inglorious Basterds

Pulp Fiction

as the top 3

followed by

Kill Bill 1&2

with honorable mention to

Natural Born Killers &

True Romance

which he wrote

You didnt like Death Proof? That was one of my favorites from him.

I read that Will Smith was the original choice for Django but turned it down because it might hurt his "image"

Foxx is light years above Will in acting anyway

Joseph Gordon Levitt, Kevin Costner, and Sasha Baren Cohen were all supposed to be in the film too, but dropped out.

Jonah Hill was supposed to have a larger part too, but dropped that and came away with that small cameo.

See, I loved Pulp Fiction, Reservoir Dogs... and True Romance was really underrated.

Inglorious just never hooked me... and I watched it a couple times.

I am looking forward to Django...

Havent seen it yet, but this thread solidifies my desire to. I know 4 people that went to see it & their recommendation is that I need to...

True Romance is my all time favorite flick, I would go see just about anyhting Tarantino does, or at least have the DVD the 1st day...

Read Jaime Foxx & SLJ had to get on DiCaprio about using the proper vernacular... "Hey, 'M-F', get over there. It's just another Tuesday for us. Let's get going."
