Get a grip, the real focus is...

My real focus now is finding another team that will be competitive and stop wasting my time trying to figure out why the Panthers organization is so unbelievably dicked up.

good luck selling those PSLs.

Now I don't understand why Hurney got fired. Hurney isn't the one coaching the team or playing on the field.

Is it going to be a smart business decision when Beane is the GM? Maybe in terms of what the GM makes, but not the repercussions on the outside.

I don't think posters mind Rivera staying. It's who decided that he was is, has, and will be the problem until JR is not meddling in team affairs

As long as Chud is here, expect another mediocre season.

Where's the faith? Where's the trust? Where's the confidence? Or the hope? Why is it so hard to believe that JR actually is trying to get this thing right? Or that our new GM may actually like Rivera? That our staff is actually improving is not that farfetched.

I just do not understand how some folks can live through the last 10 years and not see the improvement Rivera has brought. He started with a Fox and Hurney team. Some just feel he has improved enough to warrant another year to finish the rebuild. Which is what this was when we hired him. A rebuilding team.

Some, like me, are optimistic. Some aren't. I love this interwebz thingy.

I'm just kidding. I love JR.

I hope he can go out and give us some help through FA.

where is the reason for it? where is the faith supposed to be based?

what are we supposed to be using as evidence that those hopes and dreams have any basis in reality?

this team's glorious past?

so far all i've seen is a team with potential. i have yet to see a team that can make that potential to succeed turn into success when it counts.

I can see how some could view it as fool hope. History is not bitch to mess with. Last year was the offense covering the defense. But we finished well enough to foster that hope.

This years finish has a different feel to it. We were a more complete team this year. Fewer penalties, better tackling, better play, a just more consistent effort. I don't see the false hope. I see a team on the verge of being dynamic.

I just don't see a reason to be pessimistic. I say give Rivera one more draft, one more offseason, and let the chips fall where they may. I happen to believe we will be the team we want. Some don't.

Not really a big deal. I just get frustrated will all the negativity. And of course those folks that make things up to gripe about. Sometimes I don't know when to let it go. I blame the interwebz.

I also happen to believe just because Rivera was retained does not necessarily mean we cannot get a quality GM. But that could just be me too.

good luck selling those PSLs.

Already sold 'em Rayzor. I started advertising them in October when I realized I was probably going to miss more homes games this season than I had in the past 16. And the wife's schedule was such that she was going to miss the second 4 home games.

Got a reasonable offer after Week 10....

Accepted the offer after Week 12. I didn't make out too bad- lost about 18%, spread out after 17+ seasons isn't too bad, I guess. I originally asked for 10% less than what I paid.
