Players that are screwed now

I never understood Deangelo getting benched in the first place, we saw him do great things long before Rivera and Chud got here. They didnt know how to use him, its their fault for trying to run that stupid offense and not actually putting him in a system to succeed. Everything single thing has revolved around Cam when it shouldnt have.

Well doing great things long before doesn't really mean much in the NFL....

I don't think it is that they don't know how to use him as it is......how to use him doesn't mesh that well with what they consistently want to do on offense. You can't build an offense around what everyone does well and have them all play big roles.

IMO, both Adams and Gettis have to prove to Rivera that this year was the exception, not the rule. They need to do everything in their power to come back better, stronger (Emotionally and physically), and show they can be a productive member of this team. They will get a chance. It is up to them to take advantage of that chance.

Both have potential. I am sure Rivera sees it too. It is up to them to show they have what it takes. Work, work, then work some more. Otherwise, that dog house will be moved out of the backyard and into the dumpster.

its hard to prove yourself when you dont see the field. im no Gettis fan, but what this team was lacking was what Gettis Strength was.getting vertically down the field and catching the ball. Murphy left a lot of plays on the field, and Edwards..........is just Edwards.if you did not think the guy would help this team, than he should have been cut.

Rivera won 4 more games than the franchise did the year before.....and was competitive with a chance to win almost every game despite a lockout, rookie QB and major injuries.

vs.

A rookie who made no plays worth noting when Clausen was playing (the majority of the season) on a team that earned the worst record in the NFL.

So you just going to lie just to prove your point? Ok lol

Ok if what Rivera done was so amazing his first year, please tell me the excuse his 2nd? Cause it was the same as the 1st

Which means it was not special

Did I forget to mention Gettis was a 6th round pick?

6TH

armanti edwards..with the exception of a catch and nice punt return...hasn't produced much.Don't see keeping him on the roster.

Okay, name a play worth noting when Clausen was playing?

You do realize Gettis' stats line was 200 yards and 0 TDs with Clausen right? Majority of his production was accounted for in 2 games Clausen didn't play...

So I will stick with my stance, Rivera's rookie year was more impressive since that comparison was the one brought up.
