According to "Mort": @mortreport: Obviously, this is down to Oregon or Eagles for Chip Kelly, based on what we know. Majortiy of league folks believe Oregon. Decision soon.


Now I do not want Rivera to be fired next year, because that means we had another crappy season. But if does get canned NEXT year, and Kelly stays in college, Chip Kelly might finally make the jump. If he turns the NFL down again this year, it's probably because he didn't like any of the qb's of his prospective teams ie. they were not Cam Newton.

If he turned down what were likely monster offers from Philly and Cleveland, what makes you think we'd pay him what he'd want?

I just heard a million reports he wanted to move to the nfl. If he turns down all offers to coach in the nfl we were the only supposed opening except kc that wasnt open. That said I have NOOOOO interest in chip kelly.

If he goes back to Oregon, he is going to be the highest paid coach in the NCAA. They are going to make sure that the new contract has such a ridiculous buy out number, that an owner like ours would never even think about it.
