Dear media, please stop telling me Andrew Luck is good

Jimmy Clausen would throw the ball 40+ times a game if those were the plays called. That doesn't make him any good, similarly to how the amount of passing attempts isn't an indicator of how good you are at throwing said passes.

What I'm saying is that he had no running game to lean on. If Jimmeh threw 40 times he'd still have under 200 yards passing because he'd check down 35 times.

Problem is, Luck was the reason they were behind.

LOL!

Sorry, I can't remember, how many games did the Colts win last year without Luck?

The Colts were behind because of Luck... you should be a goddamn comedian.

This game is exposing RG3 a little bit. He is not an NFL caliber pocket passer right now. He's missing on everything. His knee is forcing him to stay in the pocket and he can't hit a receiver that isn't completely wide open.

That's why I love Cam. He can run, but he's becoming a very good pocket passer as well.

Averaged over an interception a game.

Rg III, Wilson, and luck are like bacon, eggs, and toast. Sure, they're all good and you might like one better than the other two, but Cam still eats them for breakfast.

all i know is i kinda like winning games and going to the playoffs. if you make a comparison of any other qb to Cam you get well yeah but that team has a good d or they have AP or they have a nice stadium or whatever. stop with the excuses.

so are we to just assume that every team that doesn't make the playoffs for any reason should just "quit whining" and blame it on the quarterback then?

You know you dont have to base your opinion of a player based on what the media says about the guy, right?

And saying "I dont like Luck because the media praises him all the time" is admitting that you let the media influence your opinion. Just mute the TV if it annoys you that much.

Luck is a slightly below average NFL QB. Which happens to be really fuging good for a rookie

U guys take the cake. no announcers, no coaches, no one knows poo but you. luck is gonna be an above average qb. meanwhile we are still stuck with a coach that is terrible and a qb that is vastly over rated by this fanbase. leave your basement fellas the real NFL is out there and you guys are such homers your are missing what's real. oh poo now I'm gonna get hit with a slab!!

not all. my point is within the context of this thread, guys are minimizing what Luck has done. i'm merely pointing out that then if that's the case, you must be satisfied with NOT going to the playoffs.

think about how dumb we look as a fan base. we have multiple threads dogging Luck or RG3 or Wilson and yet....they...are in the playoffs. last time i checked that was the ultimate goal of each team in Aug. unless we are content with stats like fantasy nerds, well then we should be happy each year.

we even had one guy in here saying the Colts were behind BECAUSE of Luck.lol. are you serious?

i don't care if Cam ever goes to another Pro Bowl or gets the credit he should as long as we just win. thats all that matters.
