Game 33: Charlotte Bobcats (8-24) @ Detroit Pistons (13-22)

Both teams seem to have stalled offensively some. Charlotte had multiple very good defensive possessions that quarter, only to have a few terrible ones.

I think this team's biggest weakness (outside of an interior scorer) is defensive consistency. imo.

Go 'Cats!

Bad call, Cats played good defense that possession.

It feels like every time we get a nice little run going, we f*ck up and turn the ball over.

Yeah that foul of Thomas with 1.4 left on the shot clock was a killer and yet a similar call isnt made when Gordon was smacked the following possession.

Anyway, Detroit is still shooting 60% for the game. That has to even out some the remainder of the quarter...and hopefully that means Charlotte can pull out a victory on the road.

Fingers crossed.

Please put Kemba back in for Ben Gordon. We can attack them inside I don't understand how Dunlap doesn't understand that.

With Dunlap not playing Kemba his usual minutes, I wouldn't be surprised if Kemba gets traded.

Interesting speculation...though I hope its really because Sessions matches up better in the pick 'n roll defense...but idk.

    • Funny, but the thing I noticed was that he considered himself a fullback---(The Panthers are one of the few teams that used a FB...) when he had never played.  I am sure the Panthers told him that, but I wondered if that was HIS intent. I think this is another "Swiss Army knife" player.  He is a FB with TE experience.  Can he catch?  Can he slide out to a wing or even line up as a TE?  Throw him into an offense that has McCaffrey (who can catch passes) and Samuel (who can run the ball) and these three players are capable of lining up as TE/RB/WR, FB/WR/WR, TE/RB/RB, etc. I am not suggesting that he is going to line up as a TE as Olsen does, but Brockel or even Dickson Hbacking could be in the cards for him.
    • He has fumbled one single time. I don't think he's a lock. However if Fozzie is expendable then of the current guys I suppose he makes it.
