Ashley Fox's Baltimore Ravens hate fest

She's lambasting the poo out of the Ravens as if they have no chance.

BALTIMORE -- Baltimore will have to short-circuit the MacBook to have a chance at beating Denver next Saturday. Remove the hard drive. Pour beer on the keyboard. Take a hammer to the screen. Whatever works.

That's the only way -- the only way -- the Ravens can beat the Broncos in Denver in that altitude at that stadium.

Wait. What? Let Ravens safety Bernard Pollard explain:

"We've got the MacBook that's going to be under center," Pollard said shortly after Baltimore ended the feel-good story of the season by beating the Indianapolis Colts 24-9 in a first-round playoff game. "That dude is a freaking computer man. He's one of the best in the game."

I've heard Peyton Manning called many things, but MacBook is a new one. It fits, though. Ravens killer would be another. When these next four weeks are all said and done, two-time Super Bowl champion might also be appropriate. Maybe even two-time Super Bowl Most Valuable Player and five-time National Football League MVP.

Manning has the Broncos right where John Elway envisioned when the Broncos' vice president of football operations pulled off the coup of the offseason and signed the biggest free agent in NFL history.

I hope Denver gets routed on Saturday

I didn't even read the article.

I've been to multiple games when the Panthers have played Ravens and their fans are just awful.

I don't really care about the article, I just hope the Ravens get throttled.

HA! She's writing that article like the Ravens are two score underdogs in a Divisional playoff game.

Idiot.

surely being two score vegas line favorites and having home field is all you need to guarantee victory

just look at Green Bay/NY last year or, for a far more local example, Carolina/Arizona in 08

Going for the Ravens this Saturday. Peyton being referred to as a MacBook almost makes me want to trash mine. I hope he pulls another Atlanta and throws 4 int and the broncos get routed.

Eli Manning

Kurt Warner

Joe Flacco

One of the 3 does not belong

I hope the Jailbirds lose and lose big to the Broncos. Ray Lewis should have done time for murder!

Peyton Manning, albeit with the COLTS, have never lost a playoff game to the Jailbirds and I do't see it happening now.

The Jailbird fans can never let it go that the Colts left that God forsaken town for Indianapolis and are the wrost fans in the world. Colts fans get beer and soft drinks poured on them in the tunnels from above, cursed at, and treated like ****!

I hope the Broncos grind the Jailbirds into the ground!

    • And to think this guy made it through 7 rounds and not one team wanted him.  Thank God Gettleman was on his "A" game and signed him here. Amazing how talent can bypass so many scouts, coaches and GMs. If they did a redraft.   What round would he go to?  Round 1?  He's a solid of a Guard as any in this league.
    • you do realize that $1M pledge he made was after he had received a ton of backlash and outcry from the media for sitting during the national anthem? He did hold his promise and has made some other donations as well, but before he decided to sit at football games, he didn't do jack poo for oppressed communities and the homeless, or any other charities for that matter. He was just a narcissist prima dona who so happened to play for one of the most talented teams in the NFL headed by one of the greatest coaches in the NFL. Him prospering early on in his career made him a cocky SOB who dressed like a thug during press conferences and treated the media like dog poo.  Yes people change, but he changed for the wrong reasons. His career was in turmoil, he was a declining NFL QB trying to stay relevant, so he thought up a rouge to get back in the spotlight by sitting. After he received backlash, he thought to himself "oh crap, I need to back up my words with some action. let me make a few donations to show the world I truly care about what I stand for"  the dude could give a rats ass about any of that poo. He didn't even show up to vote, and I don't think he's ever voted in his life. And I don't care about voting for the president, but at least vote for your local officials and congressman and for your states propositions. If he truly wants to have a voice and use the stage he has to inflict some serious changes in this country, there's a way to go about it, not seek attention for the wrong reasons just to resurrect your career.
    • I love Moton. The only thing that freaks me out about him is that he played for a small school. I do think he could've flourished for a big time program though.
