Being its the offseason, I'm not sure if this is acceptable to post here. I just wanted to send out a fair warning to all my fellow panther fans looking for jerseys. I was given a jersey on new years. It is supposed to be an elite black cam newton jersey and well...its a fake. It was not ordered off any foreign website. To the casual fan, it may look legit but it couldn't fool me.

I have posted pictures so you can see yourself. Some stuff is just like the elite but there isn't any Keep pounding logo inside it. The "w" in newton looks weird lol, best way I can put it lol Its a "nike" jersey with the panther logo screen printed . I appreciate the thought of someone trying to get me a jersey but I wouldn't be caught wearing this anywhere. I'm going to ask where he go it from so I can spread the word. In the meantime, anyone have any matches....sigh

I know yours was a gift, but I don't get why so many people look for deals, or overseas websites to save money. If you want a jersey, pony up the money for a real one. They're not THAT expensive.

I agree man! I would feel so cheap wearing jerseys like this. I will get my own in time for next season ...from nfl shop lol

The real deal jersey will last you a long time as well. The fakes wear out, and you look like a fake fan. I had a buddy who bought a cheap Ronnie Brown dolphins jersey. It was right in front of BOA right before the game two years ago. Well the jersey was cheaper because it had the wrong number for Ronnie Brown which he got riddled during the game. We got kicked out because he got in some people face about it. That cheap jersey ended up costing us a lot more than we bargained for!

Back a few years I bout three Fake authentic jerseys a smith black a pro bowl smith and a black peppers. All three looked legit. All the right colors and even came with NFL tags and patches. I was quite happy with them. The peppers jersey was the least of the bunch with shoddy sewing on the name and numbers but fug it. 50 bucks a pop. Couldn't beat it.

the "1" looks like a kid cut it out. maybe the photo distorted it....

the first and only Panthers jersey i bought was #89 that cost I think around $180 right before the 04 season(i blame myself for the jinxy on that monday night football game which was the first time i wore it). nice piece of cloth and if i had bought i phony balogne, the screen printing would have worn off by now even tho ive only worn it about 5 or 6 times.

Looking at my 2 Jersey's my dad got me a couple of years ago I'm thinking I may have been gyped... The blue is a powder blue more like a the Tarheels colors. I wear my jersey's religiously year round. This is the first time I've even put any thought into it.

i have a high quality fake Cam Newton reebok authentic jersey, retail price on the real one $250 I paid $40, the only way you could tell it was a fake is something that is actually nicer on mine then the real ones and you would not know it unless I told you.

Unlike speed's jersey mine is a very nice fake and I would never be able to afford the real one anyways, i just have better things to spend money on instead a product license because that's all you are paying for when you buy the real one.

Now with that said I do have a legit Signed Steve smith authentic jersey but I bought that back when I didn't have bills to pay and was still living with the parents 6 years ago.

I have recently acquired a knockoff Newton jersey. A good friend of mine, a Falcon fan, hit me up early in the week that we played them the 2nd time. He had won it from a local sports bar, had to choose between a Gronkowski, a Vick or a Newton. So he grabbed the Cam and called me to get it out of his house. I went & picked it up & saw it was a Nike but with the old logo, closer inspection at home & the blue is a bit off too... I will do something wiht it, maybe trick jasonluckydog into a thrift/knockoff trade.....

Ive bought all the jerseys I wear from NFL or Panthers online stores, short of the Smith 2005 ProBowl my Mom got me. Got my Keuchly last week of preseason from shop.Panthers after my Clausen jersey debacle, sported that jewely all season....
