He does have an indirect Rivera connection (i.e. his dad).

Definitely would make training camp more interesting to watch

(can't put a seven second delay on live conversation)

couldn't be a whole lot worse than sal.

i still can't forget the look of horror on some soccor mom that brought her son and his buddies to training camp when sal started up one day. she looked at me and all i could do was shrug and say, "it's sal. he gets that way sometimes."

Looked up Grimm's history too for the heck of it.

Never worked with Rivera but was a teammate of Assistant OL Coach Ray Brown.

don't particularly wnat him here, but we could do worse.

Gantt used to say there was stuff Sunseri said that he had to look up to see if it was printable

I remember when we were looking at Rex as a head coach we had a lot of fun speculating on what some of the interview questions might be.

Rob Ryan's been a DC for 9 years. He's never had a winning record.

Overrated.

OL Coach for the Seahawks.

Something tells me he's fine where he is.

Howard Mudd might be available if he doesn't retire again.

And hey, Mike Tice is free

Got a feeling the firings are over though.

that's why you bump him back to LB coach or something like that, but the winning record wouldn't be his fault. he was with the browns and the raiders before dallas. not like those teams are playoff contenders anyway.

Don't remember who posted it (thinking DPantherman but I could be wrong) but back when Ryan was interviewing here someone wrote their take on what a Bojangles commercial might sound like with Rob Ryan as a spokesman. Had me in stitches.

Rob Ryan confirms he's fired. "I'll be out of work for like 5 minutes," he said.
