Im of the persuasion that Chud reminds me way too much of Cam Cameron to be a successful head coach.

If he went to Cleveland, I doubt he would trade for one of our RB's.....they have Richardson.

Good chance they're losing Josh Cribbs though.

If he wanted a two-back system like he had here last season, trading for one of our guys would make sense.

i would think he'd be the guy calling the plays since most of the hype surrounding him has to do with him being some kind of offensive genius.

For the people that seem to be so in love with Norv Turner as an OC please explain why? I never understood why people think he is such a good one. Year in and year out he has probably been the most wildly inconsistant HC I have ever seen and as an OC he hasn't done a d*mn thing that I can rememeber since his days with Aikman and Emmit.

No NFL GM is going to pay 2 RBs like Marty Hurney did.

the only time I can think of where he would be considered "great" would be the 91-93 period where he had 3 Hall of Famers and many more outstanding players to coach. His OC stints with the Chargers,Dolphins, and Niners are nothing to write home about.

We will have to agree to disagree then...other than when he was part of the dominate Cowboys team of the early 90's (20 years ago) he has not done anything really.

2001 Chargers were 5-11. Sure that was an improvement over the previous year but having LT on the team sure did help and 5-11 is nothing to write home about.

2002-2003 Dolphins both missed the playoffs both years for the first time in over half a decade after he took over as OC.

2006 49ers - yes they improved over the previous year but still no winning record; finished 7-9.

I know that doesn't tell the whole tale of the tape and records don't prove anything about an OC but that is his resume as an OC in the last decade. I just don't see how he is considered by so many as one of the best in the league and dumping Chud and getting him would be the answer. Not necessarily and inictment on Turner but more of a backing of Chud staying.

the biggest concern i have about turner and one that i've brought up before and no one has said anything about is how would turner include cam's running ability? i don't know how mobile a QB he's had in the past and if it was something that he utilized. i don't know how progressive he is.

if he doesn't allow for cam to run, we will constantly be leaving yardage and points on the table.

turner just seems too old school to me. i think that the game is starting to pass him by as well.
