Ummm... I don't know. This guy screams Jeff Otah to me. He looks out of shape by NFL standards. The guy needs to get rid of some of that gut that is hanging there. If not then he will end up been another Jeff Otah look a like.

It's not a comment on his skills.

It's a comment on his appearance.

I like my offensive linemen to be "aesthetically challenged".

I will just say this (and I believe I said it last year).

Chance Warmack is a much prospect than David DeCastro was.

How the hell did Alabama manage to get him AND Jones?

And to the earlier poster who noted to be scared when someone says he is a safe pick... while usually I agree with that when we're talking about players limited like Clausen and all who are considered "safe picks" without much other positives (because Clausen was never any good), Warmack is a safe pick. But he's one with immense potential as well. He's a monster.

First, the notion that no team in the top fifteen (a list including all of the teams you listed except Tennessee) needed any offensive line help is ludicrous. Second, DeCastro didn't just fall out of the top fifteeen. He fell all the way to 24. All of the teams that you listed passed on the next great guard last season, and they did so because they don't value guard play as much as they value the chance to get a player at another position. They will do it again.

And DeCastro checks all of those boxes, by the way. Played in a pro-style offense under Jim Harbaugh, was a unanimous first-team All-American, a leader in the program. He didn't get picked as highly as he was graded because he plays guard.

say what you want. just dont be shocked when he goes top15 buddy.

I'm not mad about Warmack. I don't support the senseless notion of using a first round pick on the offensive line equivalent of a Fullback, especially one that isn't suited to the way this team should be built, and ESPECIALLY when there are talented viable prospects at crucial positions of need.

And its way too early to have picked a horse in this race.

Your comparing an OG to a fullback.....you're an idiot.
