"Backup offensive lineman. He's the guy who follows the rest of them around with a notepad and a tiny camera. You'll note the bruises he's got on his face and upper body, for the years of constant ugly jokes he's made about them..."

I actually told him linebacker (that was my high school spot).

Used to work with a guy who it would have been generous to list at 5'2, 155. He was friends with a player (forget who) and one night while hanging out with him, a couple of girls they met at a nightclub assumed he was a player too. When they asked him what position, he told them he was the backup punter.

I'm Smitty's weight and height, but he's way, way more built than I am. The best I could hope for would be world's shortest kicker, or something.

Wives, lol! If I had a dollar for every dumbfounding utterance my wife made! Sometimes all you can do is shake your head. She's a good woman, but some of the things that come out of her mouth- man!

I have said for years I didn't marry her for her brains, today closed the case.

B)

It's a sign that you haven't "taught" her well enough, or included her in your football/Panthers interests enough. You do have some responsibility, you know.

Got home this evening and at the dinner table told the son and the wife that Gettleman was now in the Panther family and how happy I was.

The wife says, "Oh, great, now there is another jersey you will want to buy!"

I didn't say anything and took another bite of Mexican meatloaf with my head lowered looking at my plate and smiling.

Today was a good day.

I went straight to googling mexican meatloaf after reading that. Can't beleive I've never had it. Looks awesome
