With total control.

Not a Gruden fan anyway, but giving him total control is an absolute "oh hell no" scenario.

Dont be suprised one bit if both Gruden and Chip Kelly both wanted to coach here and both are waiting until next year to see if Rivera will be fired and our HC job opening becomes avaliable.

I agree Gruden at the helm let the Buccaneer's talent atrophy pretty quick and was late to bringing in replacements for the aging vets.

...and about developing that QB....

Not to mention his whole "I date quarterbacks, I don't marry them" attitude.

I'm a fan of Gruden and think he would and will be a great HC once again.

He is not going to be the same coach he was at Oak and Tam ....he wil be much better

Isn't it a little early in the year for this topic? Win enough games and get in the playoffs and it's not a topic at all.

Clausen's skill set would actually fit Gruden's offense better than Newton's would.

WCO would be a lousy fit for Newton.

Quiz Tom Cat , Which answer is most correct:

A.) Yeah Newton has been a total bust

B.) Newton has to date has had the most successful start to a QB career in NFL HISTORY!!!!!! and has such success that other teams have adopted spread Pistol and other options to enhance their strengths as a dual threat.

C.) Fire Rivera....Hispanic coaches only deserve 2 years and these jobs are for Americans!

D.) A & C
E.) IT is B! you hate ostrich!
