If Chud gets HC job, should that make Rivera dispensable?

Chud isn't going anywhere. No one is dumb enough to hire him as HC, not even the Browns.

Wrong again.lol

Good call, Panther Train.

I hope Gettleman evaluates the situation. This changes a lot.

It was JR's call to keep Rivera. I don't see why JR would change his mind now, even with a new GM. JR had to know this was a possibility.

IMO, this should mean Rivera is re-evaluated. I have to assume that JR didn't give Rivera another year for Rivera's sake, but because he thought the staff as a whole could get us to where we need to be? Does he still feel that way without Chud here? Does Gettleman? Gonna be interesting...

Rivera is a defensive mind...the type who can help turn an overall average lot into a top 10 D.

Also, Rivera has the lockerroom...which is important. He also is a good X's and O's guy.

Plus, he seems to be good w/ Cam and forward thinking.

....Rivera just needs a good OC and to slightly more aggressive in spots.

Good post.

Now if you can just agree that Godfrey isn't the worst safety in the league :)
