Then Chud takes Rivera to be his DC with Norv as his OC.Do you guys think this could change Rivera staying, i mean Gettleman could just tell Rivera "Look, the decision to keep you was based on the assumption Cam would have continuity in the same offense, since Cam has to learn a new offense now anyway, I feel it better to move on as a team in a entirely new direction in one fell swoop." I mean seriously, this makes Rivera staying now completely pointless

Okay, for real, not as big a deal as some want to make it out to be. Everything will work out just fine.

If I'm Norv I would prefer working with Rivera, who will let me run the offense, than Chud, who will have his own ideas.
Fug Chud. Turner may want to come here because of Scott, but he might prefer to keep their careers separate considering Norv would be his boss. But fug him too. Norv doesn't have experience with a QB like Cam anyway. I'm sure we could find some qualified OC's who are a chomping at the bit to have Cam as their QB. Besides our offense didn't show up against big time defenses anyway...not when we needed it.
In retrospect we should have hired Kelly.

I remember our defense not stopping a lot of people late in games(Atlanta, Chicago, Tampa, Cowboys).Oh yes this is bad when Chud goes back to the read option as a base to see if it works this time then doesnt adjust till halfway past the season. But he has always had trouble with calling plays in crucial situations. This is great for the Panthers. Have you forgotten he's the reason why our season went down the drain? Read option as a base? Really?
seriously I can beat this argument with one hand and half my brain behind my back because the offense while bad in some games, is not the reason we didn't make the playoffs this year, and this is my point, Chud got the offense working together good enough to get the Job done, with that being the case and watching the Panthers for years before hand under Fox, why would you want Chud gone?

of course watch him go and take the browns to the superbowl
Yeah, a guy with a career resume of being wildly inconstant will go to the Superbowl with Brandon "Robin" Weeden. Robin is the least impressive superhero there is

Norv is one of the best OC's in the business.
I also wouldn't mind Shula being promoted.

no not the end of the world, but unless we get Norv this move makes next season pointless with Rivera and I'd rather not watch 2 seasons of pointless football in a rowLets all jump off a bridge. This is the worst news ever.
