Zod is a beautiful troll. So subtle. Employs a perfect blend of fact and fiction to play on peoples fears. Only responds to posts as necessary to keep the embers smoldering, keeping it alive without bursting into flames. I have much to learn. No offense Zod, but you also posted a thread after Rivera was retained saying that all signs pointed to Beane as GM, so I'll take this with a giant grain of salt.
All signs point to Shula...

I think the "I don't care if we suck" crowd would fit in much better with the Browns.Any chance that Chud takes a bunch of the whiney "sky is falling" lot of you with him to Cleveland?

but hey, at least we won't be running any of that college stuff, amiright? screw the fact that IT'S WORKING.
You guys realize that we really sucked the last two seasons. Right?I swear if we destroy this team's potential because we refuse to let go of the past I'll be so pissed.
"grr! Hate that confounded highfalutin passing game!! Gimme real football with a losing record any day!"

the offense wasn't the problem the first year. it was the defense being as stout as a wet paper bag.You guys realize that we really sucked the last two seasons. Right?
the second year for the first 10 games or whatever the offense was the problem because chud took control away from cam and insisted on running an offense that was as predictable as davidson's ever was.
the problem wasn't the read option. it was the clown calling the plays. he didn't know how to use it. he didn't have the OL to run it. he tried running a read option based running game at the same time he was trying to run a coryell passing game. it was foolish. we telegraphed when we were going to run and we telegraphed when we were going to pass and we took away cam's ability to adjust what the call was at the line when he saw that the defense knew what to expect.

What makes you think we would ditch the read option entirely under a new OC? Rivera himself said the reason he tabbed Chud was because he wanted a vertical, Cam-centered offense. That isn't going away.

What are you basing this on?He's going to give us a more balanced offense. More pound and ground game which will make our backs happy and Cam better.
Olsen is going to have an even more better year.
A more balanced offense means better OLINE.

him having a completely boring, unproductive, predictable, imbalanced, slow to get the call to the field, easy to stop, and inefficient offense when given the opportunity before. What are you basing this on?
