is he down with the cause though?
He might just be a cornball brother, which won't win us any points with Rob Parker.

how is he a loose cannon?Hue is a little bit of a loose cannon, but think he would be an upgrade over Chud.
It is doubtful any of the true up-and-comers are going to be interested in the job given RR's shaky status.

I like this, he'll have a plethora of weapons here unlike previous stops. When he actually had a runningback in McFadden, the Oakland rushing attack was 2nd in yards. I think he could be good Jonathan, and will hopefully keep SOME read option but also stack it up in some traditional packages and pound the ball. I endorse this hire.

how is he a loose cannon?
He did go a little bonkers after Davis died and gave a weird post-game press conference after the last game of the season saying it was his team and that he was going to take control. Once again, never give him GM powers. Ever.

He's a Coryell guy but he knows how to keep RBs involved. He was in a really shitty situation in Oakland and in 2010 / 2011 their offenses were not bad at all.
He's not my first choice but if he's who we get I will sleep better than I did when Chud was coming back.

Any other time he was pretty spot on in that capacity.

He was "OC" under Spurrier and Petrino. Wink, wink. Nudge, nudge. Say no more.
Any other time he was pretty spot on in that capacity.
Also, the quarterbacks for those teams. . . we're not talking all stars or anything. Joey Harrington come on down!!!

http://en.wikipedia....iki/Air_CoryellAir Coryell is the name given to the offensive scheme and philosophy developed by former San Diego Chargers coach Don Coryell. Besides the term "Air Coryell", the offensive philosophy developed by Coryell has been called the "Coryell offense" or the "vertical offense".
