I was always a fan of his coming out of college and thought he'd be a good pro, just not as a QB

Now that Jacksonville has come out and said they have no interest, he might not have anywhere he could go next year and compete as a QB

How would you guys feel if we were to sign him as not at all a QB but purely a utility player (TE, HB, FB) who gets about 15 snaps a game?

I think he could add a very interesting wrinkle to the offense and could play a little bit of each of the three positions I mentioned above. I also think he could be great for Cam in that he could learn so much from him in terms of being a leader on and off the field, he's a proven winner and I think he would be a good addition to any locker room as long as it's known he isn't a QB

The problem with The Golden Calf of Bristol if he accepted being a utility guy is (which he would be a decent one)....is it would take a couple years before the The Golden Calf of Bristol Circus disappeared.

only if we paid league minimum for his services and used him as a project conversion TE

but even then i would start to question gettleman's savvy right off the bat if it happened. we don't need the media circus that would accompany him and i would probably have to quit the huddle over the influx of idiots signing up to post about benching cam for The Golden Calf of Bristol the moment he throws an interception in a game.

This is my problem with us running the wildcat- Cam is already a dangerous runner, why put Deangelo back there?

No this fan base can't handle Cam's comings and goings, nor can they handle whether Chud should have stay or left and you want Tim to come hear surely you jest. The Huddle would fuging explode. Anyway what he brings on the field isn't that valuable.
