Plus I wouldn't waste my time doing something so useless.

I'm indifferent to JR, curious as to what will happen to the Panthers when he passes away though.

He was the key in bringing a franchise to the city of Charlotte. He's from NC. He's not cheap and he's not stupid. He doesn't hesitate to spend money when he things it's going to help the Panthers. The NFL has shared revenue. If he just wanted to turn a profit we would be more like the Bengals or the previous owner of the Jaguars.
People want to bash him because they want someone to blame when we don't win or they perceive him a certain way based on media spin and talk radio trash. Or they're playing armchair owner. Jerry's made his share of mistakes but I wouldn't questions his desire to make the Panthers as successful as they possible can be. I really don't know what more he could possible do.
If he's cheap then why are we 16 million over the cap. We we cut players to get under he'll be losing millions of dollars but I bet we still sign players and spend right up to the Cap like we've always done.
If he's an idiot how's he become a millionaire and build an NFL franchise.
If he's a meddling owner calling the shots how come players and ex GM's all say that's not how Jerry operates. Marty Hurney, Jordan Gross, Mike Minter, and Mike Rucker. I've heard them all in interviews over the years alude to or flat out say Jerry lets the GM and coaches make those calls. Of course when crap starts going in the toilet he starts asking questions how what the problem is and what they need to do to fix it. That's not meddling. That's being the man responsible at the top.
This stupid rumor got started in Fox's lame duck year when a report come out that Jerry wanted him to play younger players and it's also probably where the cheapness crap started because he didn't go ahead and fire Fox. What people never seemed to realize is that it was right before the Lockout and Jerry was one of the point men in those dealers with the players. He put the NFL and the organization above winning that year as a matter of principle and for the long term good of the organization. After the lockout ended he threw every bit of money we had at signing core players to big contracts. Some of those turned out to be horrible contracts but I think Jerry felt he owned those players for a year that went 100 times worse then he could have imagined.
Most people can't tell you why they hate or dislike Jerry because they don't really know themselves. They just buy into the mob mentality. I may disagree with a lot the things that Jerry and the Panthers have done but I've never disagreed with Jerry's intentions in those decisions.
Sorry this turned into a Rant.

Fans have supported and stood behind JR for many years. However, in 2010 he wrote off the season bc he wasn't expecting there to be a season bc of the lock out. During this season he raised ticket prices while not putting a competitive team on the field. He then allowed Hurney to over pay for many players which has hurt this franchise tremendously. Since then, he has continued to stand behind the "build through the draft" while continuing to miss in the draft. I can keep going, but I think you get the drift.
You were accidentally pie'd! No pie for you sir!
So what I'm getting from your post is you would like Richardson to take more of a role in drafting, ala Jerry Jones. Every team tries to build through the draft.

you know what would be great if we corralled everybody that used the word "haters" and pushed them into a giant hole in the earth 4000 feet deep
That and "swag".

All joking aside, hes a change man when he got that new heart.
What?? That is just ridiculous...I'm really trying not to point out your ridiculous troll posts but that just takes the cake. Please explain this because I am truly baffled.
Were you seriously even around before his heart transplant?

No one "hates" Richardson, they are just frustrated. If we go 10-6 next year and go deep in the playoffs everyone will forget all of this.
Actually, most would rather him not meddle in the draft and let guys that he has hired do their job. However, letting Hurney wreck havoc with those contracts after 2010 was ridiculous.
In addition, fans are frustrated that JR hasn't spoken publically at all since 2010 to tell fans what is going on and his plan. Ever since the famous pie chart talk, we haven't heard from him. Meanwhile PSL owners are required to continue paying their hard earned money during tough economic times.

He took a gamble in 2010 that didn't pay off and is now suffering the fall out.
