While those in Washington find the 2nd amendment untouchable there are international types like the UN who would love nothing more than to unarm America. The world isn't so cut and dry of a place. There are all kinds of agendas working simultaneously, those to save and to free mankind and those to destroy or control mankind.

To call someone crazy for taking a position is in itself ignoring the other side of the same coin.

Saying it's the "other side of the coin" gives it a validity it does not deserve.

You've misquoted me. I said " the other side of the SAME coin" the validity is therefore inherent. You are trying to say his point of contention is incorrect. What I am saying is both conditions can be and are present.

Just because something is outside of YOUR box doesn't make it untrue or stupid. I encourage different points of view on this forum. I've learned from different points of view on this forum. They should be respected.

If someone says eclipses happen because of a dragon eating the moon, I don't have to "respect their opinion".

The idea that the UN is trying to disarm America is the realm of borderline paranoid schizophrenics.

What??? What was the recently signed UN Arms Treaty about, creating better rainbows? I think you're letting your emotions about guns cloud your rational.

There are many many many reasons to distrust the motives of the UN and you are oblivious to ALL of them.

Delhommey must piss in his pants at the mere sight of a firearm. Were you butt stroked or pistol whipped as a young child?

Grew up with guns in the house. Go shooting from time to time at the range. So no, not really. Wouldn't be shocked if I'm a better shot that you.

I just don't think unfettered access to guns is the greatest of ideas and think that crackpot ideas are just that...crackpot ideas. Guns are fun, but not so much fun that we put their enjoyment above the lives of others.

just curious, what "arms treaty" are you talking about? because afaik the senate hasn't ratified any arms treaties recently. did I miss something? are you talking about Obama's administration's backing a draft of a treaty in November that called for discussions in March? did I miss something more?

    • i just took this test again for shits and i got infj, whereas last year i got intj. so my thinking got flipped to feeling but it's still fairly close. other than that, i'm still an introvert but it went down from last year from 72% to 59%. i'm not really surprised because i got a job in nyc in the last year that has forced me to adapt to social interaction. other than that there were no massive changes though.
    • Jesus. A 3-4 OLB at #8? Two major off-field character concerns in the 2nd round? Another slow WR in the 3rd? Never. Gonna. Happen. There's at least a decent chance that his top three picks won't even be on our draft board. Gettleman has said numerous times in the past that guys who aren't scheme fits for us aren't on our draft board. There goes McKinley. Given our past with guys like Carruth and Hardy, there's zero chance that Mixon is on our board. Given Robinson's off-field issues involving a stolen gun, I'd say there's a better than average chance that he's not on our board either. You'd be hard pressed to come up with a more unrealistic mock draft for the Panthers if you set out to try to do just that.
