Yep. You might not have played the hardest, but you sure did pray the hardest. Give me a fuging break. I'm so sick of players explaining their wins as a function of their faith. Religion is very pervasive in our society, so "God" loves you and your team more than the other team who surely has players of faith?

I find it extremely selfish and egotistical to think this way, much less spread it through the media in your interviews.

I don't want to hear the poo, Ray. Don't pat yourself on the back too hard there buddy as God allowed you to forget how to tackle several times and your teammates bailed you out in the end.

Just one time I'd love to here about a GM offering to make donations to the (insert house of favorite deity here) instead of paying the player. It was the will, grace and forgiveness of (insert favorite deity again) that got you here, right? You do give (insert favorite deity here) all the credit for your skills and play-making, right?

So why are we paying you? Why the fug don't we just make hefty, sizable donations in your name instead... course, they'll be nowhere close to that 8-figure money you're gouging us for now.....
