[Smitty Is Our Savior]

Mind you, I was drunk and jumping between frat parties, but me and some friends ran into them on the street last night.

We saw McAdoo, shook his hand and told him good job today and stuff. Then we saw Jackson Simmons, and for some reason, all 4 or 5 of us were so much more excited to see him. Went up, gave him a hug, told him he was the sh*t and he killed it today. He seemed happy to get noticed and appreciated like that, but McAdoo was clearly like "What the hell".

How they went from winning the game at FSU all the way back to Chapel Hill in time to go to frat parties is beyond me, but yeah. That's my story.

i ran into ellington, ginyard, terry, miller, and green at green street [for kyle hines' birthday], and ginyard was the snoodiest of all. ellington was drunk and high walking around chasing some white chick. i get the initial, 'wow, that's awesome to see these guys,' but there were a lot of people there who couldn't break themselves away. it was ridiculous knob slobbery.

Yeah, I agree. I see a lot of our athletes around campus, and I'm actually friends with a few football players, but I think it was the combo of being drunk, seeing them out in a social setting, and the game earlier yesterday.

But there's no need to be all up on them, you've got to keep it in perspective that they are students at the school just like you are.

Funniest part of it all is that they sat down 2 tables apart and made no sort of acknowledgement of one another. They had to have been intentionally ignoring each other..lol

When I worked at Wynnsong movie theatre in Durham, I saw UNC and Duke players regularly. Ed Cota came in alot, as did Dante Calabria. They were cool dudes to talk to. One night, Rasheed Wallace and his gf (i think) came in for a late night movie. I accidentally told them to go into the wrong theatre, boy was he mad when he walked by me to go to the right one. lol.

I read that at CFCC for some reason, and I was like "Uhh.. Cape Fear Community College..?"

But yeah, UNCW had "better" parties, but I enjoy parties being in between chill and crazy. Not too much of either. And many of the ones here at UNC are like that.

People been ripping on Roy lately but coaching played a huge factor on Saturday. That was a must win game and Coach Williams did an excellent job. Keeping Simmons in is evidence of that.

That's not what the haters would have u believe though.
