My wife and I watched a couple episodes of Doomsday Preppers.
Those people are dumb as poo and mentally ill.
On 95% of the people on the show I completely agree.
I have seen maybe 2-3 families that were actually serious about preparing for a disaster.

The ones they filmed in NC....the castle and deadwood...
I told my wife to look for someone called Kurb. If I saw him I was going to have a huddle intervention.
Huddle Intervention - Mocking someone until they stop whatever the hell they are doing.
I just watch it to write down the towns these folks live in.
When the solar flares hits my caravan of bandits will be raiding these locations.

I certainly don't consider myself a "prepper" but just like anything else, taken in moderation, a lot of what they advocate is just smart. Never hurts to be prepared for anything.

I could post a lot of facts, figures, and graphs but Kurb hates those unless they've been scrubbed to be pro gun.
Let's instead talk about how horrid "reality" tv is.

Let's instead my snide comments.

The tv part seems to be the only thing in question, thus the discussion. coffee?
