If Charlotte lost the Panthers, for whatever reason, there would be a lot of blaming, crying, gnashing of teeth, etc.

You must have me confused with someone else - I'm a homeowner, tax payer, PSL holder, etc. Pardon me for not giving a fug if paying a few extra pennies to eat out to support a NFL team keeps them here in Charlotte.

Good to hear. But I don't think the tax increase will affect the value of your town home.

I don't think most of the city would care honestly.

They'd just dust off their Steelers or Cowboys jersey from way back in the closet

I went to NHOF two years ago. It was cool but I don't need to go back for another decade.

It's basically fat Yankees drooling over Jeff Gordon and Tony Stewart stuff and jean short wearing duke fans using what little savings they have for a Jr lunchbox

As a native North Carolinian who is a Duke fan and parent, I certainly don't wear jean shorts...and your avatar is stupid. ;)

Tell me about it. Huntersville and Cornelius are Yankee central. The bars I go to watch the Panthers game usually have every Bills/Jets fan in the county in them.

I hope you don't go to Fox and Hound in Birkdale then. i quit going bc it's become Meathead Central

Haha Fox is cool every now and then. We used to trivia up there religiously on Tuesdays.

But getting back to what I was saying, I basically quit going to the bar for panthers games. Every bar up here isn't a panther bar.

NC schools get $450m a year from the lottery they're good.

Only wish it was for a roof so we could get the Super Bowl. At most we'll probably see free WiFi and a bunch of invisible renovations
