1) Gettleman has forgotten more about football than Hurney ever knew.
2) Jerry is aging quickly. He looks much more frail than say 2 years ago.
3) Back to Gettleman, overall I was impressed. I just hope he doesn't turn out to be too conservative or afraid to do something bold. I don't think he will, just saying it can be an issue with older managers.
4) His scouting experience should really help improve the bottom of our roster (depth).
I'm glad we made the change.

Glad we got a football guy.
This year I don't think we will be able to change but so much, as far as getting some studs in, but maybe after the cap is cleared a bit he can really go to work.

If I had been sitting there in the front row and Jerry had asked, "did you miss me?" I would have replied, "That's condescending; the franchise has been a mess and the fans have been demanding answers and yet you've disappeared."
The reporters lobbed softballs and/or dumb questions.
The only solid question was about the salary cap situation. Gettleman punted, which says to me he knows it's a mess.

I liked the hire, and I like the fact that he is a football guy. Hopefully, with the mention of "touchdown scorers", it means were going to go after another big time WR either through the draft or FA.

Jerry did come off as shall we say...hawkish. I've heard he can be a real SOB to his employees if they aren't working their tails off. I think Jerry was trying to be funny but not really.

Jerry looked terrible and was instantly rude.
As per the usual.
