I'd add the guy in question must be a pretty hardcore fan. Half the people who watch the game wouldn't recognize players if they saw them on the street, much less assistant coaches :lol:

Gosh after reading that he seems like a shoe-in for the job. I don't know much about him but it seems like he would be infinitely better than Shurmur.

In fairness, I've come away from interviews thinking "that went pretty well" and wound up not getting the job, so it's hard to say.

Manning's old OC Tom Morre says he wants to be a coordinator again too, by the way.
