greatest recognition in college sports. elite group. to be the first defensive player to do it. Especially this year when theres no amazing qb or truely dominant rb it was quite easy to think if he got enough recognition of a double death then playing amazing could push his story to the top to win it. just speculating. Good grief, this is the NFL we are talking about. If you can play, someone will give you a chance. Everyone was afraid to pick Burfict, and he quickly became a starter on a playoff team. Te'O's draft stock will fall even further than it was already, but if he is as good as some people think he is, his career will be fine.
