please tell me what purpose he's serving. No more emotional appeals. I'm hearing alternate him and TD well you can take a 5 round OLB and be just as well off. No idea why people act like trading Beason will never happen

Keeping Beason gives up a more talented LB corps if he comes back healthy. You can't really tell me a 5th rd LB is going to come and give us the same or even half the performance these vets are. Even Kuechly (no.9 overall) struggled and said the speed of the game is too fast.

Trading or keeping Beason is going to hit the same amt on our cap. Why trade him. I rather keep him.

Beason or Anderson to NY makes a lot of sense- Chase Blackburn should be nothing more than a back up.

Anderson.

I know this is never going to happen but since it is the offseason: What would your thoughts be on Beason + 5th rounder for Hakeem Nicks?

Hakeem Nicks would be a great #2 or possible #1 wr for us for several years. I would hate to see Beason go, but now with injuries and having to move from mlb, we can afford to let him go for a more pressing need. Smitty is still good but is looking at retirement soon. We need a proven WR and Nicks fits the bill.

If you can get a third for Beason I would be all over it.

it's more for me getting something in return that is worth what we know beason is worth

I'd be just fine with a 1-1 for Paysinger only

cause that name sounds awesome
