Also, I realize that Bailey is around 5'11 and meant to say he's a big playmaker. Little mistake. The guy is mad talented after the catch and I think warrants strong 2nd round consideration as much as that Patton fellow. I think he has that in-game break away ability that separates him from some of the other receivers. I'm no WVU guy haha but became a fan of him this season.
That was my "different" route...trading down so we could still scoop someone like Bailey, Patton, or Hamilton. I think they could be good for us.
Yea I can appreciate the urge to look at different routes we can take. It's certainly not a waste of effort. But I just wouldn't be able to get behind taking Lane Johnson, who's not bad but definitely not top 14 in my opinion, if Hankins, J Williams, or Richardson are still available. I also wouldn't want Bailey over any of the other WRs I mentioned. Especially not Austin...not that Austin is my favorite of the bunch, not by a long shot, but Austin fits into a similar role as Bailey but he has much higher potential in my opinion. So if that's the type of WR we're looking for we should look no further than Austin. My top 3 potentially available in the 2nd WRs, in order, are Hunter, Hopkins, Rogers (I'm thinking Allen and Patterson are gonna be 1st round picks).
