Unless they move to Kings Mountain and start over, there will never be a true tailgate experience at Panther Stadium.

Because what they did was much more complex than what the Panthers are doing, the renovations can easily be done in eight months, escalators and video board upgrades is nothing. jtnc 3,667 Report post Posted January 18, 2013 Hell, these renovations can be done in five months.

This will be the house that Luke/Cam/Charlotte eaters built. I do not think this will be completed before Fan Fest.
rayzor 13,170 Report post Posted January 18, 2013 they won't be playing somewhere else. it won't interfere with any season. it won't be a big enough job to warrant shutting the stadium down that long.

Marguide 3,515 Report post Posted January 18, 2013 More seats would be cool. jist no mega jumbo xxxl large screen. They have talked about taking some seats out. I don't think there's any chance they create more.
Stumpy 239 Report post Posted January 18, 2013 followed closely by UNC (since their recent upgrades offer a TON of seats). Coming from a State fan, this would honestly be the best option if they did have to play somewhere else. Clemson and USC both have NFL worthy stadiums, but from a business standpoint, the Triangle offers the biggest upside for the team. Population alone makes it a no brainer. But, the eastern part of NC has never really embraced the Panthers. A year playing in the Triangle could definitely change that. Considering the exploding young professional demographic in and around Raleigh, we might finally be able to snuff out the last bastions of Deadskins fans in this state. frash.exe 11,571 Report post Posted January 18, 2013 how is the unions' grasp on construction in NC? because if it's half as suffocating as it is in NJ this poo's never getting done lol
Stumpy 239 Report post Posted January 18, 2013 Also, with the highspeed rail from Charlotte to Raleigh, it would be incredibly easy for the Charlotte faithfull to make the trip on gamedays.
