They're planning an execution?

:phew:

Execution....as in execution of a plan.

yeah we gotta play games at SC for that time just seems right. Maybe have camp in NC switch it up lol

Well, that's not going to happen. Their agreement with Wofford goes through at least 2015.

Why is this even a discussion? They are adding new video boards and escalators. They aren't playing anywhere else.

For $125-200 MILLION Dollars ???

those two will take up a significant amount of money, but thost won't be the only things going on.

not really enough to keep the panthers from playing at BoA, tho.

LOL isn't the capacity there like 40,000?

We don't want to make the Buccs feel good about themselves.

Ha, yes I think it is even less. However, the way they built the stadium, they did it so it can be expanded for a lot more fans and in hte future I think eventually, they will make it a decent (competitive) stadium. A lot fo teh new football team is based on growth, such as a band for instance that will be nonexistant until there is some growth. I think it will happen though, UNCC is just exploding and is getting tougher I know from first hand expereience, its been my second home for research purposes for a long time. I think the statement was a wishful thinking one, while I love UNCC, there are better options.

Even still, I pass the stadium frequentley and I think it looks awesome. I'm biased being a student but seeing that beauty instead of basically nothing is great. It's really nice and people in Charlotte should be happy about it.

Hope they don't get the same sales guy they had just a few years ago for the video boards. He really burned them a new one on those little things.

i don't think they will be that gigantic. but, if they do play elsewhere, got be in Columbia. piece of cake drive compared to Clemson. p

btw- since these upgrades are about the "gameday experience" are they going to do anything to make tailgating i dunno...BETTER??

Easier to get in and out of with better dining options nearby..no question. Hopefully the Gamecocks embrace a partnership if they do have to relocate for a year.

I remember when we were awarded the team, the initial plan was to play our first season in Columbia (USC), however the University thought the Panthers would detract from Gamecock games played on the Saturday prior, like that would ever happen.

They don't own any parking, so I don't know how that would be possible. In ten years, tailgating in Uptown Charlotte will be largely gone I think.

Three more enormous lots were lost this year alone and there are several other projects pending development in third ward.

I just want to know what's going on with that huge lot owned by Charlotte Pipe on Morehead St. right down from the stadium. Perfect for tailgating but I think they have other ideas which would be more lucrative.

Like a lollipop park.

LOL -Lollipop park...It would be cool to have an entertainment complex at that location...sports bars, a "Panther Hall Of Fame" etc. It could be "party central" on game days!
