Wow, surprising after Rivera decided not to retain him after 2010. I wonder how Skip feels about that.
Big surprise to me too for that very reason.
It's fairly rare for guys at this level to admit they might have made a mistake. By making this call, Rivera is showing that he has the balls to do that.

Source? Haven't seen it confirmed. Seen that he is in the running, maybe even the favorite, alongside Seahawks DL coach Todd Wash and former Bears DC Rod Marinelli, but not that he's actually gotten the job yet.

Did he get fired along with Fox and all of Fox's staff before Rivera got here or did Rivera let him go?
John fox was Not fired. His contract wasnt renewed. There is a difference.

well he was right about beane so.....Person: I think #Panthers will promote several of their own coaches. Shula to OC, Proehl to WRs (from asstWR), Rodgers to ST (From asst/interim ST).

Yes, you're right. The question still stands and I assume since his contract wasn't renewed then Skipper just wasn't hired by Rivera or Skipper may have already joined the Titans. I don't know. That's why I'm asking.
