The rumor seems VERY thin. If it did happen, it's funny because I don't think there's a QB that is more opposite of what Chud had to work with here lol.

For future reference just quote the article. Linking it is stupid when not everyone has insider

Mallet looked good in his little time with the Patriots. But hey, their system made that nobody Tom Brady look good as well.

I think the complete opposite to a big, athletic strong armed QB would be a short, unathletic noodle armed QB.

Chud had both here in Carolina. Cam Newton and Jimmy Clausen.

He might be willing to adjust his system. I thought he was pretty good when he came out and was surprised he fell kinda. Now he's been on his Aaron Rodgers with Tom Brady. It could work out

Chud made DA a Pro Bowler (for one season) if Chud/Turner can stay consistent with the play calling there's a chance Mallet can succeed.

*He is no where near worth the 6th overall pick though

I seriously doubt they'd give their first for him. I expect it's be a round higher than Mallett was taken, which I think wa the 3rd. So I'd expect it to be for the Browns' 2nd. Although since the Browns pick high I wouldn't be surprised if it were for like their 3rd and maybe 6th or 7th.

Well yea, but I meant Cam's an uber mobile QB and Mallett is one of the least mobile.

It seems to me Chud can vary his system. DA was a pro bowler in it and he's a lot more like Mallet than he is like Cam.

Yea, I don't think Mallett would fail there. I think he's a solid QB, probably better than anything they have in Cleveland at the moment.
