#1 - Tolbert is a fullback. He blocks well when he's asked too and we aren't running the read option in which he's on the side line. He's great for short yardage and even screen passes out of the back field or lines up at TE. Bet you didn't even realize that though.
2. You can restructure contracts. Once again this is not madden, I know that's where you learned football from but you can actually restructure contracts to save money. I know, amazing. Williams is a great running back and teammate. He was utilized poorly but with Skipper returning and Shula takin over, we should be seeing more Dwill/Stewart.
3. We can draft a receiver. Hurney ain't around anymore so we can finally bring a guy in that can play with one of our first couple of picks.
4. If you aren't banned for name calling like I was, then this forum is an even bigger joke than you.
Just because he played FB for the first time in his career doesn't mean he's a true FB all of a sudden. We had the worst YPC average that we've had in several years, so i wouldn't say he blocked WELL. Yes, he is a big weapon on offense and i hope we keep him but he is far from a good blocker.
Sure, we can restructure, but i highly doubt Dwill is going to take the kind of money an average RB deserves. Runningbacks are a dime a dozen. We could fill his role with someone much cheaper. Why not spend that money on positions we actually need.
We can draft a receiver right after DT, safety, CB, and OL. Find me a day 1 starting WR in the 6th.
And I'm sure you are the exception for name calling. Is there anyone in this forum you
haven't argued with?
