9-7?
10-6?
Playoffs regardless of record?

What if by some technicality, we got into the playoffs as a wild card at 8-8?

I think that the magic formula is 9-7, regardless if we get into the playoffs.

Playoffs or ten wins should do the trick.

playoffs, period. unless we go 7-9 and make it in a terrible division, which won't happen.

I think we would need a 11-5 record to get in the playoffs here in the NFCS. I think if we were in a situation like the Bears this year (10-6?) we should keep Rivera.

10-6 or playoffs, but i would go beyond that.

i don't care how good they look at the end.

if they have a losing record heading into the bye week...he's gone.

3 losses in a row and he's gone.

losing can't be tolerated at all. if the players don't like him being under the gun like that...too bad. they better step it up.

if he manages to pull off a run in the playoffs or 10 wins, thats not enough for a new contract. he's got to have two winning the seasons in a row to get a new contract. if he can't then we move forward without him.

screw the process...it's time to see results.

I don't think he's much of a coach. Even if the team went 11-5 it wouldn't mean much other than we probably had the right personnel and someone had a breakthrough season. He's a handicap to the team and the sooner JR and company see that the better.

Reminds me of the Bears going to the Super Bowl with Rex Grossman. Not every sailor on the ship is productive.
