Gettleman is on now.

Of course, you can always go to the website later in the day if you miss it.

He said "This League revolves around the Quarterback".

He also said, "You need Quarterback, Touch Down Scorers and Big Men" in this league.

Good Sign, leading into the draft and free agency, we hope.

As Mr. Scott said previously, Gettleman said/reiterated 'I was a road guy for 11 years, so I've done college scouting'. And added, 'this ain't my first Rode you know', as he politely swatted the question away.

Unfortunately, these two guys ask some dumb questions, which doesn't always give us the best insight/answers.

Gettleman feels that stability is more important than bringing in new coaches and personnel people, feels that he can get the job done with the people here.

Thinks that, all things being equal, drafting the best player available is the way to go.

Likes Brandon Beane and Rob Rogers.

His comment about moving pots confused me though. What does that have to do with football?

LOL, it's the Boston accent. He said "moving parts."

They should have had more than 10 min with him. Hopefully, when he comes back and has the time, they'll have him in the studio for at least a half hr, maybe even taking phone calls.

Panther fans and reporters still have a lot of questions and interest about his management, drafting, free agent style, as well observations on the team.

But I'll take the little that we got so far today, which was adequate/positive.

Rivera's supposed to be on within the hr (and that was 10 min ago).

not really any reason right now to give a public assessment on the team. i'm guessing there's a whole lot of stuff being examined on the roster as well as other options available.

Definitely, I wonder how long it takes him to get up to snuff. Maybe it won't happen until he's off his current trip and settled down some in Charlotte??

Obviously, things will slow down for him after the draft.

[/quote]you probably won't know what he's thinking until after he's done something. he doesn't seem like someone that tips his hand as to what he wants to do.
