What year did U graduate?

Nah I stayed in California for college, my grandpops played football and baseball at the U and I grew up watching them with him in their glory days.

Dorsey worked under Weinke at IMG when Cam was training there, right? And worked directly with Cam?

I agree with you but I bet Peyton manning if he choose to accept that mission he would be a great HC at least a oc.

Manning becoming a good OC is not a given. Very few great players can make that transition. Just because you have a high IQ and great instincts doesn't mean you can teach it and manage an entire offensive system. Generally guys lacking in physical talent make better coordinators because they never could rely on talent alone.

Peyton stikes me as more of the owner type rather than coach.

it is widely reported that Manning is already basically his own OC, but I think that you are right in that he won't have someone with his ability to turn to... well, unless he did, and then... he might be good, but so would a lot of people, heh.

Damn, didn't realize he was that tall.

So, I like 3 hires so far. Dorsey, Skip and DeNiro, and disliked 2, Shula and Mr. Rogers.

Forgot about Dorsey

Going from scout to coach is unusual, but it's not like he has no experience. Rob Chudzinski would have served as his OC both in college (Miami) and a couple of his pro years (Browns).

Dorsey wasn't an athletic freak. He was the kind of smart player that usually makes a good coach.

Nice choice.

a lot of good coaches were bad players, and a lot of great players make terrible coaches

Is there any game day experience being added to this staff? I've been in Chicago for 2 weeks so I haven't been able to keep up.
