1993 - unc loses by 26 to wake forest.

So this would actually be the worst if Duke wins the title. I think elite 8 is much more realistic.

Also in 92 duke was damn good. Biggest loss - 4 points

Was it a bad loss? Yes, but almost every team has a game or two where the other team shoots lights out and you can't beat them.(Miami’s effective field goal percentage—a measure that gives 50 percent more credit for 3-pointers since they account for more points—was 64.7 percent, virtually double Duke’s 32.4 percent (the Blue Devils shot a season-low 29.7 percent from the field and 17.4 percent from deep).

Our championship year we were blown out by State (who shot 59% from the field) and Georgetown (who shot 72% from the field), Uconn's championship year they were blown out by Pitt and St. Johns, plus last year as dominate as unc was they lost by 33 to FSU so it happens. The main thing is how does the team respond afterwards? Duke has to come out strong against Maryland and get a win.
