Vernon Davis Insults Steve Smith

Megatron is just a name. The diva WR era is going away. Lots of ways to define diva.....Smith requires a lot of extra attention and his own rules. There's some truth to that but hard to believe Megatron would ever demand to get the ball thrown to him when he had the most targets and receptions from any player this season.
Larry Fitz, Megatron, Andre Johnson have all recently had years w/ spotty QB play....

LOL, so Davis is blaming his crappy attitude earlier in his career on wanting the ball more and somehow that's SS and CJ's fault?
I think he is saying being a high maintence player.....wasn't the ideal path.

You can want the ball and still be a good teammate. Davis was not.

Steve Smith wants the ball, but if he doesn't have it he isn't too much of a me-first primadona to throw an awesome block for the guy who does.

Pretty sure Smith packed it in 2010 when he wasn't getting the ball.....and he made life much harder on a rookie QB thrown into the deep end of the pool. He was pretty me first....

Steve Smith has individually won more games for the Panthers because of his play, than Vernon Davis has even played in the NFL.
Now Smith is doing the exact opposite by fumbling at horribly inopportune times, falling down on timing routes and challenging defensive backs to wrestling matches in Smitty's "Rage Cage".
Don't get me wrong I still love Smitty and he's still the greatest Panther of all time, I just wish he would set a better example for others.

Thats a horses**t statement and you know it. You are just trying to make an argument against Smith and like most of your prior Smith arguments it falls completely flat. Steve Smith has never given this team any indication that he packed it in.

defenseless receiver....another call that's getting way out of hand if you ask me...clearly shoulder on shoulder.
Thats what I thought. So I guess Kam was supposed to just let VD catch the ball and walk into the endzone for a touchdown. Seriously a rule like this basically says not to play defense.
