Ward sucks ass, if he just stays on his feet he makes almost all of the saves.

We should've gone after Schneider, Crawford, or Bernier or some other solid goalie that we could've gotten when trading Ward. Im pretty positive we could pick up a good defenseman or forward as well. Im sick of my favorite teams holding on to players because of something they did years ago. Ward needs to be traded before he implodes and his trade value is very low. He isn't worth holding on to when you consider what you can get for him right now.

The only hope is her may be the Miller exception that actually makes it back to previous levels of play. Even then, I think we have too much talent to waste trying to figure it out.

Let another team try to figure it out, while we cruise to a playoff support with (even) adequate netminding.

I would cream myself if we got Bernier or Crawford. Not too high on Schneider, but I don't think he's any better than Peters. No point in picking somebody up when we have an equivalent already.


We need to just trade Cam. He made some REALLY nice saves (especially that breakaway off the McBain turnover), but the goals he allows just make you facepalm so hard.

I think its pretty dumb that we have to score 5 goals a game to have a shot at getting a point. At the same time, I think its pretty awesome we have the firepower to put up 5 goals a game.

We need Ward to snap out of it if we're going to have a shot at making or doing anything in the playoffs. Dan Ellis was great his first start but he isn't the goalie to drag this absolute mess we call a defense into the playoffs. The last time Peters was called on to be the guy when Ward was injured he sucked so bad that he was outplayed by Manny fuging Legace.

I'm totally fine with Ward and Ellis splitting starts for now but if this team is going to be successful this season then Ward is going to have to be Ward or we're up poo creek. That or we trick Vancouver into giving us Luongo for Corvo.
