Now this has some comic potential  (link)

Owens' actual advice apparently was for Young to "know his role".

Not my first thought when I saw the headline.

If you REALLY want to get attention, just talk about suicide and get a bunch of pills, then let your publicist tell everyone how many million reasons you have to live.

And why can't Terrell Owens give someone advice, because he has made mistakes in his life that gets exaggerated in our media?

Wow! I guess you guys must live some seriously perfect lives.

Apparently it's Weird Story Day.

Ndamakong Suh saved Louie Anderson (remember him) from a car accident (link)

And the guy who attacked Trent Williams at a nightclub turns out to be the guy who owns it (link)

Welcome to The Twilight Zone

Next time you need relationship advice, why don't you ask Manti Te'o

In his later years you could tell TO grew up a lot. He never made a peep on the Bengals or Bills, worked hard and even put up some decent numbers. I actually think he'd be a great guy to give advice to talented football players with their heads up there asses. TO has been there, he's been the locker room cancer and he completely tore apart a championship caliber eagles team. If there is a guy in football who LEARNED what being a good teammate means, its Owens.

Kind of like Ryan Leaf telling NFL GMs that they shouldn't draft Cam Newton #1 overall?

Ryan Leaf talking about how to have a positive attitude...

Manti Te'o giving relationship advice...

Marty Mornhinweg explaining how to win in overtime...

All good examples

If anybody knows what to tell Young it's TO... But TO did make a mistake Young isn't even the #2 receiver he's the 3rd (possibly 4th if Broyles can stay healthy)

I didn't get that was what he was doing. I got the impression he was more blaming his situation on instant wealth and pressure from being drafted so high. It was those in the media doing the discouraging.

Anyway, Terrelle was no different than Smitty. He was quite petulant at times. The difference is his antics was used against him and it hurt his stock. In all honesty Smitty could have easily been turned into a DIVA, with a bad attitude like Terrelle.
